Power math

The Heltec LoRa32 V4 in router mode sips power continuously from its 5W solar panel, with up to 12,000 mAh of 18650 battery capacity absorbing any shortfall. In typical sun exposure, the panel keeps the battery topped off through normal cloudy stretches. The Super Node will run indefinitely without any intervention.

Up in an afternoon.

One mounting session. Then it runs itself.

Step 1
Mount it
Use the included wall or pole mount bracket. The IP67 enclosure and 5W monocrystalline solar panel are a single self-contained unit — no external panel wiring needed.
Step 2
Attach the antenna
Thread the included antenna onto the RP-SMA connector on the enclosure. Point it vertically for maximum omnidirectional coverage.
Step 3
Power on and verify
The node powers up automatically once the battery has charge. Configure once via Bluetooth using your chosen app — Meshtastic, MeshCore, or a Reticulum client. No further visits needed.
